Truth and Honesty

Why do people lie to one another? Why do they hide things and keep secrets?

I feel I’ve been so blessed. I found someone I not only love with all my heart but someone I can be totally honest with. Someone I can tell anything and everything to and know he won’t judge me. I love Kevin so much. But then I see my own parents and see how their relationship has deteriorated to the point where they can barely stand each other. I see my mother trying to hold together this broken family but then turning around and keeping secrets and straight up lying. She thinks it helps to lie and  keep people blissfully ignorant.

I never want to do that.

IT’S A REAL POST

katieYay, thanks for the update! You’re the best!

I posted a really fun post on Bob the Pirate, so I’m going to link to that instead of actually writing something here. :P I can do that.

CLICK IT.

I can also do this:
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Ahhh. Complication on TH, but tomorrow’s W

meI think that of all the days of the week, I dislike Tuesdays and Thursdays the most. First of all, they begin with the same letter, so people everywhere have to try to come up with a way of distinguishing the two in those calendar things. You know that M T W thing. No biggie right? But my problem is when people try to get creative about it. Like doing MTWHF. WTF? When I look over that, I don’t equate H with Thursday. I think that people are perfectly capable of figuring out that the second T in the week is bloody THURSDAY! What else would it be? Another Tuesday? “Look honey, there are two Tuesdays this week!” “I guess that’s why they call it TWOsday!” Hahaha. Dumbasses. This is particularly confusing when you have to look at the schedules. You are working on TH. Maybe I’m just crazy, but when I look at TH I see THursday, not Tuesday and Thursday.

Secondly, none of the web-comics update on Tuesday or Thursday. Except leasticoulddo.com, which updates everyday and I love it so.

Anyways, I will try to update more often. Sorry! ^^;

“The Box”

katie Isn’t it strange how things are intertwined?

Last week, I made two stuffed animals for two different people’s birthdays. I mailed them through FedEx. The guy at FedEx saw them and offered to pay me to make one for him grand-niece. I had a huge group project and didn’t finish the commission until yesterday. Today, I went to give it to him. I earned $15. My bf and I went to the movies to see The Box. The tickets cost $17. With the student discount the price was cut down to $15.

The stuffed animal I made paid for the movie~ What if I had finished it last week and already been paid? Would I have already spent the money? What if I had decided not to hand-make the birthday presents? What if I had gone to UPS instead? What if what if what if!

And that’s the weird, convoluted sort of thing I expected from The Box. Well, it was convoluted alright. But it didn’t have that punch-in-the-face that Donnie Darko had (same director). It was just, “oh, I guess that’s been explained now…. sorta”. I won’t say I’m disappointed. I’m just processing it still.

Hm.

BTW, where have you been lately, Kevin?? Update much??
